This Privacy Notice explains how the personal data received through forms and the video surveillance material collected in the premises of Wipak Packaging (Changshu) Co. Ltd. (Wihuri” or ”we”) may be processed and how the privacy rights of individuals may be exercised.

The data we may process includes images and records (including the related date, time and location) collected through the video surveillance at Wihuri’s premises (”video materials”) relating to the following data subjects (“you”):

The data we collect via hard copy or electronic forms may also include your name, information on your employer (e.g. company name) and the date of access to our premises.

If you are a minor under the age of 18, please do not access our premises before obtaining our prior approval. The processing is based on your consent. If you do not consent to the processing, we may not be able to allow you to access our premises.

The video surveillance is conducted in accordance with Chinese law. As required by Chinese law, there are signs to indicate the video surveillance at the premises under surveillance. You can also access this Privacy Notice by scanning the QR code on the signs.

With Whom May We Share Your Personal Data?

Other Wihuri Group companies: We may transfer the personal data to other Wihuri Group companies listed in the Annex of this Privacy Notice if necessary for data back-up and other security measures, or for investigations and disciplinary actions within the group. Some of these companies may act as independent data controllers for the personal data we provide them.

Wihuri operates in a global market. Due to this, your data may be transferred to jurisdictions outside of Mainland China for the purpose described above. The overseas recipients mainly are our Wihuri Group companies listed in the Annex of this Privacy Notice and the overseas service providers engaged by such companies.

Wihuri complies with all applicable data protection legislation and aims to ensure that your privacy is not infringed in any phase of the processing. We continuously develop and implement administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your data from unauthorised access and against loss, misuse or alteration. The rights of access to the data are predefined and limited.

For How Long Do We Retain Your Personal Data?

Generally Wihuri retains video material for a period of two months or shorter. Wihuri retains the personal data collected via hard copy or electronic forms for a period of two months.

We may, however, retain the personal data for a longer period of time if it is required by law or justified by an ongoing investigation or pending legal proceedings. If you ask us to remove your personal data, we may still retain your data if necessary for complying with such legal obligations.
