Jetflite Oy’s change negotiations concluded – business operations subject to the negotiations to be discontinued

The change negotiations initiated by Jetflite Oy on 8 June 2026 concerning its flight operations, brokering services, fixed base operations and technical department and the related personnel have been concluded. As a result of the negotiations, the company has decided to discontinue these operations.
The negotiations concerned all employees in these business functions. The decisions will have workforce implications, resulting in the termination of employment for a total of 49 employees.
The decisions are based on the prolonged unprofitability of the business. Despite the measures taken, profitability has not been improved in a sustainable manner, as the operating environment has continued to present new adverse developments.
The wind-down of the business operations will be carried out in a controlled manner during a transition period. Operational activities will continue until 30 September 2026.
“I would like to thank the employees of Jetflite for their dedicated and exceptionally professional work for the company, as well as all our stakeholders for these years together. This decision and its outcome are difficult, and our focus is now on managing the wind-down responsibly while ensuring the smoothest possible transition for both our customers and employees,” says Risto Aarnio-Wihuri, CEO of Wihuri Group.
